5th generation
An advanced design of hang glider with CFX and double surface wing section
A-frame
the triangular control frame of a hang glider, comprising two uprights and base bar
Flexwing
A hang glider with frame and structure, that distorts for aerodynamic control; not a Paraglider.
Kite
A hang glider, of any sort
Paraglider
Glorified banana shaped parachute with no frame
Rigid wing
A hang glider with a rigid structure, fabric and/or fibreglass covering, that has movable surfaces for aerodynamic control
Airwave
UK manufacturer of hang gliders called e.g. Magic, Klassic, Kiss, etc
Hiway
UK manufacturer of hang gliders in the earliest days e.g. Cloudbase, Hiway 220, 240, Harrier, Scorpion, Super Scorpion
